The Week Ahead - May 3 to 7

Good Afternoon Everyone,

The sun made a surprise appearance today which always fills us with extra joy on a Friday!  A big thank you to all of our PAC Hot Lunch helpers today - we appreciate your time and support to keep this program going!

A continued thank you to everyone for continuing to send your children to school with masks and keeping them home if they are unwell.   We ask for your continued assistance in maintaining physical distancing when outside the school either dropping off or picking up your child.

You will have likely noticed the yellow fencing that has been put up around the areas of our shed and gazebo construction.  These are construction zones and ask for your help this weekend with staying outside of the fencing when visiting the park.  We have, unfortunately, been on the receiving end of vandalism the past few weekends with our basketball nets being repeatedly cut and one of our Dogwood trees being cut down.  If you see any suspicious or inappropriate behaviour we encourage you to call the police or the after hours District line posted on the signs around the school.  We are working with our Community Police Officers to have additional patrol of the area but appreciate any additional support for our Homma community.

Attached with the Week Ahead are two one-page documents highlighting both the French Language and Fine Arts Summer Learning Programs being offered by the District this July.

We wish you a wonderful weekend and look forward to seeing everyone again on Monday,

Mrs. Major and Mr. Vines
