We are so thrilled to be writing to you today on our last day before the Winter Break! These past four months of the school year have been filled with ups and downs, often leaving us with more questions than answers. The one thing that has remained constant is the sight of nearly 500 smiling faces walking through the doors of the school each morning! This isn’t the first time we have said that we are so fortunate to have such an amazing community of families, staff, and support at our school. Although most things have had to look different, sound different, and be done differently, our students have taken it all in stride proving once again that when we come together, we can get the job done.
As we head into the winter break, please know how much we all appreciate everything you have done to keep our school running smoothly. From ensuring all lunches are packed and sent to school each morning to patiently waiting outside in the rain for the school doors to open, you have all been a huge part of helping to keep our school healthy and safe. The new year may bring new challenges our way, but I am confident that we will continue along the same supportive path that we are on right now.
Over the break we hope each and every one of you are able to take some time to reflect on the events of the past year and find those moments of hope that will carry us into the new year. We wish you a restful, relaxing break and best wishes for a new year filled with joy.
On behalf of the Homma staff we wish you a very happy holiday,
Mrs. Major and Mr. Vines
