Happy New Year Homma Families!
We hope you all had a healthy and happy winter break! Although our festivities looked much different than we are used to, the time to relax and recharge from a very uncertain year was likely welcomed by your families as well.
As we gear up to head back to school tomorrow, please know that all health and safety protocols will remain in place as they were prior to the winter break. Hand washing will remain at an all time high and students, as with staff, are invited to wear their masks through out the day as you feel fit. Please do remember to include a clean mask in your child's backpack each day in case of an emergency drill when students are in closer proximity than usual.
We will continue to take advantage of the outside for learning and playing so please be sure to have your rain gear ready because it looks like we will all be needing it this week! If your child happened to bring home their extra set of clothes for washing or resizing, please be sure these items are also ready to come back to school. And if you have not yet sent these items, now would be the perfect time as it is very difficult for many of us to stay out of the puddles!!!
Many of our transitional learners will be returning tomorrow and we look forward to seeing you in person and connecting with you again! Please meet your class at their outside entrance door at 8:45 am and if you are unsre of where to go, one of us will be able to help you out at the main doors of the school in the morning.
We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow and getting back into the routines of the school year!
Mrs. Major and Mr. Vines
