As the school year had unfolded teachers have brought circle into their classrooms to create community, a sense of belonging and connection. The picture shows students meeting in circle at the beginning of the day to share how they arriving to school. Students are given an opportunity to share and listen and learn from one another. We have also started circle before staff meetings. Staff have found circle to be supportive of creating community and belonging.
